The Guido
Contract Change - Effective from 13thJune 2017.
- From the 13th of June allowances for calls, texts and data included in your membership can be used in the Republic of Ireland & the EU after your first €10 membership purchase
- Landline minutes can be used to call Republic of Ireland landlines only.
- It will be free to receive calls while roaming in the EU from 13th June. See Table 1 below for more information.
- We are removing EU roaming call & text add-ons from 13th June. You will not be able to purchase an EU roaming call or text add-on from 13th June. You can continue to roam outside the EU based on current charges. If you purchase an EU Roaming Add-on before 13th June, you can still use this allowance after June 13th as long as it is within the 30 day period following your purchase of the add-on.
- Some membership changes take effect after your first membership purchase from 13th June, as illustrated in Table 2 below.
- Domestic add-ons can be used while roaming in the EU from 13th June. See Table 3 for more information.
These will take effect from the 13th June and be the same as your current Republic of Ireland rates.

Calls received while roaming within EU will now be free of charge.

Members will not be able to make calls in the Republic of Ireland or EU after 13th June unless they have a current membership or have purchased a relevant add-on.
Guido Membership domestic add-ons purchased on or after 13th June will also be available to use in the Republic of Ireland and while roaming in the EU from 13th June. Domestic add-ons purchased before 13th June will be available for use in the EU after your first membership purchase from 13th June:

If you do not accept these changes you have the right to cancel your service within 30 days of this notice without penalty. You can do so by contacting us on or before 13th June 2017 on one of the following channels:

- Chat with us live online by clicking the ‘CHAT NOW’ button on your left. Agents will be available to chat from 09:00 to 21:00 Monday to Friday and 09:00 to 20:00 Saturday and Sunday.
Each change above is hereby notified to you individually. Continued usage of services after 13th June 2017 is deemed to constitute acceptance of the change.
Under Regulation 14 of the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Universal Service and Users' Rights) Regulations 2011 an operator shall, not less than one month prior to the date of implementation of any proposed modification, notify its subscribers to that service of the proposed modification in the conditions of the contract for that service, and their right to withdraw without penalty from such contract if they do not accept the modification.
Fair Use Policy
48 reserves the right to introduce a Fair Use Policy (FUP) in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2015/2120 (‘The Roaming Regulation’).
The current applicable fair usage policy continues to apply to any free allowances in a plan.
